Right next to the metro station and Tashkent mall. Spacious apartment.
Wear and tear: toilet seat was broken, so literally hurt to sit down. Door handles falling off, water kettle not working.
Very messy “check-in” and “check-out”: despite giving an exact 30-minute arrival window; they were surprised I was “early” (I wasn’t… I was right on time) and weren’t there, so after a long day traveling I had to wait for them to come open the door for me. We agreed to pay by cash - owner showed up at the apartment unannounced to pick it up without agreeing to a time or letting me know they were coming, I had just gotten out of the shower, so felt a little uncomfortable.
Also they did not register me in the tourist registration system; which they are legally obliged to do, and which can cause a lot of issues.
