Tropical eglamping Mũi Né

I wanted a weekend getaway from Saigon's noise and smoke gray skies. To feel again fresh winds and sand under foot. Topical Mui Ne delivered. The tipi was spacious, airy, clean and air-conditioned. Not that I needed the AC much with the sea breeze filtering in from the mesh windows. The food was actually amazing: fresh, local, varied and very, very tasty. I noted that many tourists came just for lunch and dinner under the central tent where there is a tiki-style coffee and drinks bar. The coconut grove and pines offered deep shaded areas to sit, sip my coffee and attempt to read a book. But then, the beach called and I had to go off for a beach walk. The staff here had cleaned their breach frontage from the debris the sea brings in everyday - a nice thing to do. You will see other beachfronts locations covered in discarded plastics and styrofoam bits which take away from one's enjoyment. I can they are very dedicated. They took excellent care of me without being intrusive.

During my visit, the men's washrooms were being renovated and the stalls were missing doors. Not inconvenient to use, just in transition.
