As a bird watcher, I wanted to be walking distance to the botanical garden.
Rooms required going up and down about 45 stairs to get to the hotel wing… no elevator.

Lovely pool. Spacious room with everything we needed.
Thin walls so quite noisy. Dated facilities. Very much a club not a hotel and the service reflected that. For example, we received no instructions around how to enter the gym, where to find towels, etc.

The staff were great.
For the price. It was old, run down. The bathroom was full if mould and algae in corners at the sink. I wouldn’t ever stay again if given a chance.
