Bunk Surfers Paradise 18-35 Backpacker Hostel

I really appreciated the great location of the hotel, as well as the fact that the room was very clean and well maintained.

One thing that bothered me was that I had to strip the bed myself before checking out. I can understand this in a shared dorm or bunk room, but for a private room at this price, I wouldn’t have expected to have to do that. There was also very loud music coming from below the hostel late into the night. I understand that this is not the hostels fault, but it did make it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

The property lobby was warm and appealing. The beds were so comfortable and I loved how it was bunks but they were fantastic quality. I stayed in a 4 female dorm for 5 days and it was great. The bunks felt private. The location was in a great position, and easy to get around.

The kitchen didn’t have enough equipment to cook in, and people smoke weed constantly at night. The reception closes, so there isn’t anyone to report to unless you go to the hotel to report. The beds would benefit from having curtains on them, as people turn lights on and wake you up - but the beds were very comfortable.

The sleeping arrangement was not great for a dorm, no curtains and very open, almost no beds had privacy.
