Villa Aguglie Con Piscina

Our stay at Villa Aguglie in Modica was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the lady of the house made us feel genuinely welcome, offering very helpful local tips and recommendations that enriched our experience. The villa itself is a gem—a beautiful 19 century manor built in limestone, filled with character and charm. Nestled on top of a hill, in the Sicilian countryside, a few km away from Modica's old town, it offers a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. The atmosphere is quiet and tranquil, allowing you to fully unwind and soak in the authentic rural beauty of the region. The Moorish garden offers a serene space where one can spend hours enjoying the shade, atmosphere and a few glasses of chilled Sicily wine :) The swimming pool is lovely and refreshing, perfect for cooling off on warm days. We loved the generous barbecue area — perfectly designed for outdoor dining. Every corner of the property reflects care and attention to detail; everything was clean and well-maintained. The hospitality and warmth made all the difference. We felt like we were staying in a friend's home rather than a rental. Modica is a wonderful town, and Villa Aguglie is the perfect base to explore the entire Val di Noto region and its marvelous baroque towns. We can't recommend it highly enough and would love to return. Grazie mille!

Siamo tornati in questa struttura per il secondo anno consecutivo e non possiamo che confermare l'ottima impressione della prima volta. Bellissimo e autentico casale siciliano, dove si respira un'atmosfera di assoluta pace e tranquillità, ideale per chi cerca un soggiorno silenzioso e rilassante. La Signora Ester, con la sua accoglienza, cortesia e costante disponibilità, fa sentire subito a casa. Molto bella anche la piscina, pulita e tenuta in modo impeccabile. Una conferma sotto ogni punto di vista. Torneremo di sicuro!
