Very comfortable and clean apartment in quite village close to the ocean. A wonderful host who welcomed us with fresh fruits, vine and everything we had an image for the first night and morning meal. The location is excellent for traveling around the island - same time to east and west.

Super Haus und selbst Hotels können sich von diesem Ferienhaus eine Scheibe Abschneiden. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sehr herzlich mit einem Präsentkorb empfangen und hat uns sehr gute Tipps für den Alltag gegeben. Das Haus war super ausgestattet mit allem was man brauch. Der Seeblick direkt neben dem Haus war super schön. Mit der Aircondition konnte man auch Winter das Haus gut beheizen. Alles im allen eines der besten Ferienhäuser seit langem ;-)

I honestly didn’t expect such a wonderful place — the reality exceeded all my expectations. The house is absolutely fantastic: beautifully designed, perfectly clean, fresh, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Everything feels new and thoughtfully arranged, with great attention to detail and aesthetics.
The host welcomed us so warmly, with delicious local food — fresh fruits, local cheese, and homemade jams made from Azorean pineapples. It was such a lovely and personal touch!
The location couldn’t be better — in the charming little town of Maia on the north side of São Miguel, just a 30-second walk from the ocean. It’s truly a magical spot, peaceful and full of local charm.
I can’t recommend this place enough, and I’m sure we’ll be back someday. It was an unforgettable stay!

This bright blue house is recently renovated and beautifully finished. The house was clean. The shower is very luxurious and provides nice warm water. Enough towels are available. Next to a washing machine, also a drying is available. The kitchen is well equipped including a dishwasher.
At arrival the host was there to welcome us. She was polite, showed us around the house and answered all our questions. She left already quite some food for us (among other things: fruit, wine, water, cheese, bread, home made jams, and eggs), a really warm welcome. She responses fast to messages.
Good to know: it is indeed in reality as shown in the pictures.
We reserved a baby bed and also a baby chair was provided, great for our stay!
The area is great, so close to the ocean, plenty of parking nearby, multiple grocery shops in the city of Maia. Places to eat, picnic area and infant playground all at walking distance. A great locations to explore Sao Miguel.
You don't want to go home.
