CR La Montañeta "by henrypole home"

Todo estaba impecable. Un detallado: la bandeja de fruta que nos dejaron. Mil gracias al señor que hace el mantenimiento de la casa ( me regaló un poco de orégano natural,q estaba plantado por fuera de la casa😍). Una paz increíble. VOLVEREMOS !!!!😍😍😍

Solo echamos de menos una mosquitera en las ventanas. Ahora en verano,hace mucho calor en esa zona, y para aliviarlo queríamos que hiciera corriente de aire dejando las ventanas abiertas, pero eso hizo que nos visitarán mosquitos. Me acribillaron😒. El resto TODO genial.

Great little stone cottage 10 mins walk from Artenara. Well equipped, lovely wood fire, great shower, comfortable bed. Fabulous views. On the GR131. Would definitely stay again, probably our favourite stay in Gran Canaria

Some kitchen basics would've been nice (salt, pepper, oil, etc)

Instruktionerna för att hitta huset kunde varit bättre. Vi ankom i storm och hagel och mer detaljerade instruktioner hade varit hjälpsamt.

The property was unique and felt just like a mountain cottage with a fireplace. It is built as if on where a trail viewpoint would be located. I also appreciated the fully stocked nature of the cottage with different heat and blanket options. Finally, it was pretty cool to have a property that felt remote but was so close to a charming mountain village.

A couple of tips. 1. This was our first night after arriving from the US. We got out in dark and the drive was very draining due to the narrow and winding roads. This added to time and we arrived late. Highly recommend you book this place after you have already arrived at outside property and get the hang of driving your particular manual on hills and curve. This way its also possible to arrive during day. 2. We did a two night stay and did a longish hike during the day. We didn’t realize that after showering that the restraunts close just before dark. So try to stay longer or arrange your day maybe a shorter 3-4 hike and allowing you to experience the village during the day when it is alive and a late lunch would be nice. It is a beautiful setting.
