Cosy room at the edge of New Forest, in Langley

Quiet location 25 minutes drive from cruise port. Stayed for 1 night. Lovely location and ensuit room. Room was incredibly clean, comfortable and spacious. Host both friendly helpful and knowledgeable.

Nothing to improve on. I have 3 more future bookings here prior to cruises we have booked.

Rural location. Excellent parking.

The area itself was very nice, quiet, and peaceful. Good location if you want a calm atmosphere.

My experience with the hosts made me feel uncomfortable. The first thing the owner said to me when I arrived was that if he didn’t have to remind me to take my shoes off, then we would not have any problems. From the beginning, this created tension and made me feel uneasy. Every time I was using the kitchen, the owner would stand behind me and watch me closely. It honestly felt like I was constantly being monitored. I would not even be surprised if there were hidden cameras in the room as well. Also, the room had no blinds or proper curtains, so from around 5 a.m. the room became extremely bright and it was almost impossible to sleep properly. On the last day, when I went to the kitchen to collect my belongings before leaving, the owner’s wife quickly ran into the room to check if I had taken anything. When I was leaving the house, she came downstairs looking very stressed and out of breath. Because of this atmosphere, I would not recommend this place for families or for people who simply want to relax and enjoy their stay peacefully.
