We booked our stay there for the marathon. It was so close to the starting line and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Check in was super easy and instructions were sent out before arriving so we had plenty of time to review. The place is very roomy and it comes with everything you need (including laundry detergent). Great value for what you get.
I noticed on one of the reviews that one of the windows doesn't have a curtain. The host confirmed so I came prepared with a sleeping mask and didn't have any issues with light waking me up. Besides that, place is perfect!

Location: 2 restaurants nearby, one block from convenient store
Entertainment: free use of TV
Bath: no bathtubs! Which is very rare in a Japanese hotel
Sleep: a top window with no curtains to block the light, easy to be waken in the morning
Charge: hard to find out explanation of extra charge before ordering, and there’s a ridiculous “cleaning fee” for almost 6000 yen!
Time: also hard to know the check-in and check-out time, and it’s really inconvenient to check in until late afternoon and check out early in the morning
Convenience: also, there’s no place to store the luggage, in consideration of the checkin time, you have to bring your luggage all through your journey on that day!
