Amenities list ”electric kettle” as something that the property has, so it was a bit shocking to know a few days before arrival that there is no electricity at the property at all. There are batteries which can connect to USB-A and USB-C but no place to plug, for example, hair dryer or anything like that onto. There is also no shower possibility (expect for the ocean water of course) which isn’t disclosed clearly enough I don’t think. We also got to know this a few days before arrival. There are two neighboring houses with people using the same beach so there is little feeling of privacy. The lock on the cottage is laughable and there’s no lights at all in the yard so it might feel a bit unsafe at night, even if the neighborhood isn’t that bad. The waterway is in active use and there’s a shipyard opposing the property so prepare with earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
