If you’re looking for surprises on your vacation, this place delivers. We arrived late in the evening, tired after a long journey, only to discover that the owner had neglected to provide the entrance code. Standing outside with our luggage, we began what felt like the first challenge of an escape room. Thankfully, the neighbors took pity on us and succeeded where the host had failed, helping us get inside. The swimming pool was another surprise: despite being prominently featured, it was closed until June 15th, a detail the owner somehow forgot to mention before our arrival. There was also no Wi-Fi, despite it being advertised as one of the property’s amenities. By this point, we started wondering whether the listing was based on a property that exists only in theory. Nothing, however, prepared us for the true horror awaiting us inside: there was not a single roll of toilet paper. After hours of travel, this discovery hit harder than any missing amenity ever could. The towels looked as though they had been passed down through generations of guests and were approaching retirement age. The beds were so uncomfortable that every morning felt less like waking up and more like surviving the night. There was, however, one genuinely positive aspect of our stay: the cleanliness.
