Uffice Apartments is an excellent budget accommodation within walking distance (5 min) of West Nanjing Road, Shanghai. The apartments are clean, and fully equipped. They also offer an extensive package of free facilities that you can use during your stay, such as: a swimming pool and gym (in a neighboring hotel), a dry sauna, a Couple’s Bathtub, Skyline Bar (on the 33rd floor), a balcony deck (on the 5th floor), a laundry room, and a karaoke/mini theater room. The apartments are located in a large complex where smaller businesses and locals also live, making it an ideal location for those who want to stay among the locals. For groceries, there is a supermarket right outside the door, and there are plenty of dining options a short distance away. The host (Mr Jenkins) is very service-oriented and very helpful (in our case, due to a flight cancellation, he arranged for us to stay in their accommodations for two extra days. This also allowed us to view multiple apartments). The apartments might not be as luxurious as a 4 or 5-star hotel, but the service certainly is. In short, an excellent budget choice.
