The place is amazing, super quiet and comfortable. The staff was also very kind. Staying at Nuwara Eliya Golf Club felt like being on an island of tranquility, although it's just a few minutes walk from the town center.
I was maybe also lucky with my room, because I had super nice views over the garden and golf course. Besides, having a snack and a beer or having breakfast with the garden views was really nice. The best place I stayed in Sri Lanka.
The room furniture was a bit dated, although the bathroom was renovated. But everything else at Nuwara Eliya Golf Club compensates for whatever little things anyone could find.

The location, the spacious room and the friendly staff.
Room was cold and no blankets supplied. Had to ask for them. Food delivery was slow, even by Sri Lankan standards. My so-called fish pie was mostly vegetables, no flavour and missing one major ingredient- fish!
