Cosy Hills Retreat

Great spot, beautiful house and amenities. We stayed on a 40 degree day and they had the aircon and fans in lounge on ready for us - kept the place sufficiently cool on the hottest of days. Fans in bedroom and was a great size place for us. Very neat, tidy and clean place. Easy instructions to get into house.

The whole experience was a positive one for our family and we are very appreciative of the hospitality which included snacks on arrival and the wood fire going on a cool winter's afternoon. Communication was fantastic, including a folder with all of the information we needed as well as a friendly hand written note. Not to mention the beautiful decor and layout of the accommodation. I would highly recommend this place to anyone exploring Adelaide and surrounds as it is nestled in a very handy spot and your hosts will ensure your stay is a pleasant one.

The house is in a great location, the hosts were good communicators, snacks were left which was a nice touch, fire lit for our arrival which was really nice. Nice linens on the beds, clearly lots has been done to renovate the property. The kitchen is open, good for families with games etc provided.

The beds are rock hard, whilst alot of renovating has happened, more needs to be done for the $400 a night price tag. A broken gas heater in pieces on the deck for example, which also needs maintenance. Stairs are super steep, garden needs attention. I booked this as it had a couple of 10/10 reviews however I'm assuming these are done by friends. No door on the toilet off main bedroom, front door lock wouldn't work. I hope they continue lifting the standard or consider lowering the price tag accordingly.
