As toilet paper cannot be flushed, a pedal bin would be preferable.

We had a pleasant stay at Cedar House Ocean View & Access. The ocean view is truly beautiful and was the highlight of our visit. The accommodation was adequate for a relaxing getaway.

A few small improvements and clarifications could make the experience even better for future guests. As the property requests that toilet paper not be flushed due to the septic system, adding a bidet attachment or toilet tushie would make this arrangement more comfortable and convenient. The beach access is nice, but it should be noted that it involves many steep, narrow steps and some uneven terrain. Guests with mobility concerns or families travelling with small children may find it challenging to access. We also found that the shower fixture seems to be reversed, with the hot and cold settings opposite of what is expected. It takes a little adjusting to find the hot water, but once you do, the shower is quite comfortable. Finally, the exterior of the property would benefit from some yard maintenance, particularly trimming the overgrown weeds along the walking paths. With a few minor updates and some additional information in the listing, this property could provide an even better experience for future guests.

Beautiful view and property/lodging! The beds were comfy, the shower and separate toilet is handy for a group of 4. The owner, Tina, is so kind and helpful—we are really thankful for her help when we had questions during our stay. Overall it was a nice place to stay ! :)

The full instructions were not delivered for check in and check out due to technical error but the owner was friendly and able to speak with us over the phone and by email to sort everything out. It would have been helpful to know about the steep gravel driveway in with recommendations for an all wheel drive at the time of booking so that we could make proper arrangements for vehicle rentals but we made it work with a regular sedan. :)

Sehr hilfreiche und freundliche Vermieterin. Sehr viel Platz, große schöne Terasse mit Mehrblick im Wald, sehr ruhige Lage, eigener Zugang zum Meer (ca. 300 m, recht steil).

Die Toilette ist recht schräg, das Bad ist (naja) doch sehr einfach.
