Newly Renovated Glendale Studio - #203

Completely perfect for my needs. In the process of moving to LA area for work, and this property was much more affordable than others. It's in an older building with lots of character, but rooms are renovated. Beautiful fixtures, a double burner, and a perfectly sized fridge, with deep sinks and a spacious bathroom with a great shower. Plenty of space for storage and hanging clothes, and pet friendly! The community is quiet - while still right in the middle of downtown Glendale which is, in my opinion, the perfect location. It was close enough to USC where I work, but far enough from downtown LA to avoid the otherwise ugly and depressing parts of LA (sorry if that offends, but DTLA is really tragic.) Walking my dog at midnight around the block never felt unsafe here. You can walk to pretty much anywhere - several grocery stores, theaters, amazing restaurants, cafes, coffee shops literally across the street, my bank, CVS, gyms, bakeries, Target, mall stores. From what I understand LA is not walkable but in this particular location, you could probably even go without a car for a while. Parking across the street can add up and be a little pricey, but it's much better than other locations, or places that offer only street parking, and you can rest assured your car is at least safe every night. Parking at the top of the garage is a surprisingly nice place to sit outside, people watch, and get a great view of surrounding mountains. The hosts were flexible and accommodating as well when I extended my stay. Overall highly recommended and genuinely kinda confused by some of the mid-lower ratings unless they're from a while ago or something?

I THINK the beds (at least mine) are Murphy beds. It seemed it could be converted into a sofa by day if you chose. However, I don't think mine was able to fully do this. It was fine because converting it every day would probably be a huge pain. But if that's something you need or want, maybe ask for guidance on how to convert it or something.

Quiet clean small apartment in great location of Glendale. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied except no coffee maker

There are some small improvements which could easily be made to make this apt more comfortable. 1. The shower curtain is too short and water gets all over the floor when taking a shower. Everyday I would have to wring out bathmat 2. No window blinds whatsoever while privacy was not our concern, every night there is bright hotel light that shines I. Your face from nearby Residence Inn making it hard to sleep .
