つちといろ

The property is an old country home that has been completely renovated inside with hardwood floors, modern furniture, etc. It's located in the countryside, in a very quiet rural village alongside a scenic river. House is across the street from the train tracks, which make for some cool scenic shots as various passenger trains go by. It's a convenient location for quick daytrip access to Iya Valley (scarecrow village, vine bridges, etc.). Beds were very comfortable -- floor futon style, except they seemed to be actual thick soft mattresses instead of the standard thinner JP futons.

Train tracks can be a little noisy late at night (last train) and early in the morning (first train) when the passenger trains roll by. It's also far from any restaurants, so you'll need to drive or ride bicycles to get food unless you bring your own groceries.

ho amato tutto, unica cosa negativa è che ho prenotato solo un giorno. se vi piace la tranquillità e l’estetica giapponese fateci più giorni:)

Pleasant, clean traditional home with great facilities. Good access for travellers with a car.
