I don’t usually write long walls of text, but this time I simply have to share. Pros: The apartment is spacious, beautiful, features several balconies, and is in a great location. The airport is nearby, the train station is within arm's reach, and a grocery store is just around the corner. The hosts themselves also made a wonderful impression—they were very friendly, showed us around, and encouraged us to reach out if we needed anything.

Cons (or the "fun" part): As it turns out, perfection only exists in photos. Upon arrival, we noticed a lack of basic items that should be standard in any rental property: • Toilet paper: There simply wasn't any. We had to organize an urgent rescue mission to the store. Luckily, we didn't arrive in the middle of the night! • Kitchen starvation: Usually, previous guests leave behind at least some salt or oil, but here we found complete sterility—no sugar, no spices. After all, we rented the apartment to enjoy cooking dinner in the courtyard, not to run to a cafe for every pinch of salt. • The dishwasher illusion: There is a beautiful dishwasher in the kitchen, so we enthusiastically bought some tablets. The result? It wasn’t even connected to the water supply! And the cherry on top—since the dishwasher didn't work, we wanted to wash up by hand, but we couldn't find any dish soap either. • What else was missing: There was neither a knife nor a hairdryer. To be fair, once we asked, the hosts promptly bought and brought everything over—a big plus to them for that. Verdict: If all these household essentials had been sorted out in advance, I certainly wouldn't be writing this novel. Overall, the apartment and the hosts are genuinely great; I just hope that in the future, they will take better care of their guests' comfort right from the very first minute.
