The Travellers Cup Fort Stay

My stay was delightful....Pankaj is the best host and has very helpful staff, charming room with private bathroom and enclosed shower stall, a very comfortable bed and air conditioning, wifi available throughout the whole guesthouse. The view from the terrace is wonderful, sitting on the west wall of the fort with spectacular sunsets. The owner has a coffeeshop/cafe just around the corner with undoubtedly the best coffee in Jaisalmer, plus breakfast....OMG...the mixed fruit muesli....yum! I wish I could stay longer, but Traveler's Cup Fort Stay is definitely where I will come back to on my next trip to Jaisalmer.

I stayed in a Heritage Room at Travellers Cup Fort Stay and was truly impressed. The room was very clean and well-organized, with many thoughtful little details that made the stay feel special. The bathroom was also excellent, spacious and with reliable hot water, which isn’t always a given in India. A real highlight is the small rooftop, which you can reach via a spiral staircase. From there, you have a beautiful view over the city. It’s a शांत and peaceful spot, perfect for taking a breather, as India can sometimes feel quite overwhelming. The service was outstanding. I was often kindly asked if I needed anything, without it ever feeling intrusive, just the perfect balance. The Travellers Cup Café also deserves special mention. In my opinion, they serve the best coffee in all of Jaisalmer. I visited other places as well, like Kuku Coffee Shop and a café near Gadisar Lake, but none of them could match the quality of the coffee here. If I ever return to Jaisalmer, I would definitely stay here again. Warm regards, Max :)

Staying at this homestay inside Jaisalmer Fort was a truly unique experience. It truly gives you the feeling of living like a local within the fort, yet the place is decorated so beautifully that it carries a subtle royal vibe. The space is compact, but the attention to detail is remarkable. Every little thing you might need for a comfortable stay has been thoughtfully provided — from a kettle and bedside lamps to essential toiletries. What impressed us the most was the exceptional cleanliness. The room, bathroom, and linen were spotless, which is especially commendable for a budget stay. In fact, we rarely see this level of cleanliness even in places that cost much more. The rooftop is another highlight — it offers a wonderful view and is the perfect place to relax and soak in the atmosphere of the fort. They also have a charming coffee shop where you can enjoy great coffee and a lovely breakfast, making the mornings here especially pleasant. A special mention for the wonderful host. She spent nearly an hour with us, showing us around the property and sharing recommendations for local places to eat and shop within the fort. Her warmth, hospitality, and inspiring personal story made the stay even more memorable. Overall, this homestay offers a perfect blend of authentic local living, comfort, thoughtful details, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to truly experience the charm of staying inside Jaisalmer Fort.

Außergewöhnliche und angenehme Unterkunft mitten im Fort mit Rooftop Terrasse. Der dazugehörige Coffeeshop (best coffee in Rajastan 😉) ermöglicht wundervolle Begegnungen mit Locals und Touris. Das Zimmer selbst ist sauber und stilvoll, das Bad geräumig, die Treppe zum Rooftop eng (logisch im Fort!) und das Wifi selten stark. Was will man mehr!
