Yumkaax - A unos pasos de la playa

We had such a wonderful stay here. The place is absolutely lovely, with beautifully decorated rooms and incredibly comfortable beds. Everything felt thoughtful and welcoming. The staff were exceptional, so friendly and genuinely helpful. They couldn’t do enough for us and even carried our heavy suitcases up the stairs, which we really appreciated. The location is perfect: directly opposite one of the nicest beaches on the island and right by one of the best playgrounds if you’re travelling with children. It’s also just a short walk to gloria with a supermarket anr plenty of lovely local places to eat. There are also some little swings that both adults and children can enjoy,a really fun touch. They’re quite high up on the terrace, so I’d recommend adult supervision for children. I’d highly recommend staying here, and if you get the chance, go snorkelling at Joya. It was a highlight for us.

In the spirit of transparency for other travellers, it’s worth noting that there is a 5G tower on the property. This may not be an issue for most guests, but if you or your family are sensitive to EMFs, it’s something to be aware of when booking.
