Welcome to our rustic, budget-friendly cabin near beautiful Harveys Lake! This is a simple, cozy retreat made for travelers who appreciate charm and location more than luxury finishes. The cabin is clean and comfortable but could benefit from updates — so if you’re looking for a high-end stay, this may not be the right fit. The total space is approximately 540 square feet. The kitchen features a rustic vintage stove along with easy-cook counter equipment like a microwave and toaster oven. We provide linens, cookware, and eating utensils for your convenience. Outside, there is a grill for enjoying meals outdoors. We have two kayaks for your enjoyment and there is a beach access location down the street.

Sleeping arrangements:
We have one private bedrooms and one private studio optional bedroom, each with a brand-new full-size memory foam bed and a pillow top mattress for a restful night’s sleep. The living room includes a sleeper sofa to accommodate additional guests comfortably, sleeping up to 6 people total and 8 if you inflate the air mattress.

Water supply:
We rely on a private well and holding tank for water, we are on a city sewer line but not city water. The system is fully functional but limited in capacity. We kindly ask guests to conserve water during your stay — take short (hot) showers and avoid excessive water use. Bottle spring water is available at the property for your enjoyment. There is no laundry onsite. Conserve, conserve! Toilet is on a city sewer line and is gravity flushed.

Parking:
A little tight for one vehicle at the cabin and street parking for other vehicles.

You’re just a block from the lake with kayak and swim access. Plus, the cabin is conveniently close to Misericordia University, Wilkes University, King’s College, wedding venues, Mohegan Sun Casino, and beautiful hiking spots like Ricketts Glen Falls.

This cabin offers an affordable, peaceful getaway for families, college visitors, and nature lovers who want a down-to-earth experience near the water. When compared to our neighbors nightly rates we offer an affordable accommodation for everyone to enjoy.

Guest access

Guests will have full access to the entire cabin during their stay, including both bedrooms, the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor areas. You are welcome to use the grill and any outdoor seating provided. Additionally, guests have access to nearby Harveys Lake, just a short walk down the street, for swimming, kayaking, and relaxing by the water. Please note that the property is private, so only registered guests are allowed on site. Parking is available nearby.
