Decked Out was the perfect place to spend my birthday weekend! This lovely lake house is beautifully decorated and very well kept and loved by owners Steve and Lana! You can tell Steve and Lana cherish spending time here and go all out for their guests, providing a welcome basket and a fully stocked house - all kitchen cooking essentials plus spices, fantastic coffee station, more than adequate paper and cleaning supplies, and bath and pool towels for all!Fun time on the water with kayaks, canoe, and peddle boat. Fun time inside with TVs and games, cards, poker! We enjoyed morning coffee on deck reading and listening to birds, afternoon cocktails on deck listening to music. We looked forward to hot tub but a recent storm few days prior to our stay didn’t help. That’s not to say Steve didn’t try to resolve! Steve’s communication and problem solving was above and beyond - his responsiveness as a host was outstanding. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed. Or don’t… more time for us to return :))

It's hard to think of something that would have made this stay better. Place has a lot of room, especially outside, and is well stocked for entertainment and cooking. Steve was exceptional at communicating and facilitating everything and provided a very nice welcome basket. Lots of towels and pots and pans. The decks are as advertised with multiple areas in which to relax, both shaded and in the sun.

My stay at this lake house was everything I hoped for and more. The space itself was warm, cozy, and beautifully decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made it easy to relax the moment I arrived. It struck the perfect balance between comfort and style, with thoughtful touches throughout. Coming to Toledo Bend was a bucket list item I’ve wanted to cross off for years, and staying here made the experience even more special. What really set this place apart was the boat dock. Having the ability to tie up my bass boat right outside was incredibly convenient and made getting out on the water effortless. Whether I was heading out early in the morning to fish or just enjoying the lake views in the evening, the dock added so much to the experience. On top of all that, the owners went above and beyond to make my stay even better. Their care and attention made me feel truly welcomed and added an extra layer of comfort to the trip. Altogether, this lake house offered both the charm of a well-kept retreat and the practicality of lakeside living. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to the outdoors.

We had a wonderful few days, the host was great, anything you might need was there! Communication was top notch. It was just the two of us, we should have brought the whole family, there were so many things that the kids and grandkids could have enjoyed. Every thing you see in the pictures are there for the kids enjoyment. Thanks so much for the hospitality!
