Embrace the lake life by relaxing on the deck, grilling meals, boating, and fishing for northern pike, bass, crappie, bluegill, and the occasional sturgeon.
Many nearby attractions including two state parks, dining options for everyone, plenty of shopping, and over 1000 lakes including the nearby Otter Tail Lake.
The Pine Cone at West Lost Lake is a brand new addition to Twin Pine Resort. This unique tiny home is built exactly on top of an old crumbling cabin that needed to be torn down. This gave us the rare and exciting opportunity to put something brand new and modern only steps from the lake.
The Pine Cone is a studio style tiny home. This means there is not any separated bedroom. It is all one open floor plan making the small space feel much larger than it is.
This space features a sweeping view of West Lost Lake out multiple over-sized windows and a clean, contemporary, luxurious feel inside.
The kitchen is stocked with all common cooking utensils and kitchenware, including pots and pans and coffee pot.
The attached deck has a propane grill and an outdoor table with seating for 4
There are two sleeping areas; a queen bed on the main level and a queen bed in the loft that is accessible by a ladder.
There is one bathroom with a shower that is stocked with linens, shampoo, soap, and toilet paper.
The smokeless fire pit is located just off the deck with a great view of the lake.
The property is large, wooded, and right on the lake so there are plenty of insects, bugs, birds, turtles, and other wildlife.
The Pine Cone I is part of Twin Pine Resort. There are other nearby cabins and campers which may have guests enjoying the grounds and the lake.

I visited mid week in Oct so it was nice and quiet. The natural light coming in the big windows and the serene décor made this a lovely little getaway.

Lovely furnishings. Easy check in. Just wish it had the WiFi posted in cabin. Also was missing a broom and pans and the propane tank for the grill didn’t work. However, host was responsive and quickly got a broom and propane tank for us.

Property was clean, property owner was easy to communicate with and flexible during our stay. Having a very reasonably priced pontoon rental during our stay was also so great, our kids loved it as well!

The property was very clean and comfortable in a very cute setting. The finishings are high quality. Check-in was very easy and we were provided with all the things we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay there again!
