Long Valley Lights – Your peaceful escape in the Blue Ridge Mountains
Welcome to Long Valley Lights, where the peaceful mountain air meets cozy comfort. Tucked on top of Fancy Gap Mountain, our cabin is the kind of place where you can truly slow down, breathe deep, and enjoy the quiet—but still be just minutes away from local restaurants, shopping, wineries, and scenic spots.
We’re just a couple minutes from the famous Blue Ridge Parkway and only 10 minutes from I-77, so getting here is easy. All the roads to the cabin are well-maintained, and only the last little bit is gravel. No steep roads, no tricky turns—just a smooth ride into the mountains.
Step inside and make yourself at home
As you walk through the front door, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing stay.
On the main floor:
A cozy queen bedroom
A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo
A fully stocked kitchen ready for cooking, complete with cookware, dishes, and full-size appliances
A charming dining area with a stereo system and a big collection of classic CDs
A comfy living room with a sleeper sofa, recliner, gas fireplace (seasonal: Oct–March), and a large smart TV with all your favorite streaming apps (just use your own login)
Step out onto the back deck and take in the view on the patio sectional and around the gas fire pit. Grill some steaks on the gas grill while sipping a glass of wine.
Head upstairs to the loft where you’ll find a warm and welcoming space with a full-size bed and a view overlooking the main living area. It’s the perfect spot to curl up with a book or take a quiet nap.

A dedicated workspace with a desk, chair, and monitor, ideal for remote work
