In the heart of the village of Argentière, you'll enjoy immediate access to the glacier. The Grands Montets ski area is 500m away and the nearest supermarket 200m away. All other essential shops, restaurants, bars, etc. are within walking distance too. Although we're happy to advise you personally, here are a few of our favorites:
➤L'Alpain: The best bakery in the area, just a 3-minute walk away! Go there with your eyes closed, everything is made on the spot the same day. Our favorite is the blueberry “patte d'ours”.
➤ La crèmerie du glacier: Whether on foot in summer or on skis in winter, the crèmerie is for me the restaurant not to be missed. Right in the middle of the mountains, you can enjoy a cheesy "croute" with genepi while taking in the lush natural surroundings
➤ (Re)discover cross-country skiing:
Rent your cross-country skis at Intersport (1850 Rte d'Argentière) and get your boots on to set off on a circuit that takes you through the forest and across pretty streams. Don't hesitate to stop for a bite to eat along the way at the crèmerie du glacier.
➤La P'tite Verte:
If you appreciate the charm of more traditional restaurants, consider making a reservation at La P'tite Verte. Here you can eat all kinds of cheese specialities.
➤Fubar:
Head to Fubar to debrief on your day on the slopes, play ping pong / billiards / take a ride on the mechanical bull and drink a few beers with friends.
➤ L'Argentero:
Grab a beer after a long day of skiing at the Argentero at the bottom of the slopes, in high season there's often live music.
For those traveling by car, two private parking spaces are available at the property. Free and paid parking spaces are also available in the village center.
Bus stop (Argentière) and train station (Mont Blanc Express) right next to the property so you can easily discover the valley with our guest card.
To discover the rest of the region by car, allow 45 minutes for Megève / St Gervais and 1h30 for Geneva / Annecy. Chamonix city center at 10/15min.
