    Everything was ok except the fact that you have to pay for water and drinks kept in the fridge in your room. Pool timing was not helpful as well.

    When I made the booking, I specifically informed the hotel that I am asthmatic and suffer from severe allergies. I explicitly requested that extra attention be paid to the cleanliness of the room, particularly the bed and bathroom. The hotel replied assuring me that they would take extra care and that the room would be cleaned to the highest standard. I also informed them in advance that I would be arriving late, at around 21:00. What I found on arrival was not merely disappointing- it was disgusting, unsafe, and completely unacceptable! The room smelled as if someone had vomited in it and then attempted to cover it with an overwhelming amount of toxic chemical fragrance. The smell was so strong that it made the room impossible for me to safely occupy. The room itself was filthy: there was dust everywhere, the floors were dirty, pubic hair was present in the sink, shower area, and bed, and there was mould in the bathroom. Towels and pillows were missing. On top of that, the bed was not what I had reserved- instead of 1 large bed, I was given 2 single beds pushed together. I've wrote to the management with screenshota but never received a reply. When I raised these serious issues with the staff, I was told this was “because of the strikes in the country.” That excuse is completely unacceptable and frankly insulting! My reservation was made almost 2 weeks before my arrival, giving the hotel more than enough time to plan properly, clean the room, prepare the correct bed type, and ensure that the basic standards promised to me were actually met. Because the room was soaked in heavy artificial fragrance, I was forced to spend hours in the lobby while the windows were left open in the hope that the air would become breathable. I remained in the lobby until around 03:30h in the morning, exhausted and distressed, because the hotel initially refused to move me to another room. Eventually, I forced myself to go back and try to sleep, but I suffered an asthma episode. I was coughing, suffocating, my eyes were irritated and watering, and I had to seek urgent medical attention. This was not a minor inconvenience, this was a serious health incident caused by the hotel’s negligence!!! To make matters worse, I did not have to seek hospital treatment once, but twice!!! After that, I also had to search for open pharmacies in order to obtain all the medication I had been prescribed. Instead of being able to rest safely in the room I had paid for, I was forced to spend days dealing with a medical emergency, hospital visits, and the stress of finding medication because the hotel failed to provide a clean and safe environment. Only after repeated insistence, unnecessary arguing, and a significant waste of time did the hotel finally agree to change my room, unfortunately the hygiene wasn't much better but at least the toxic smell was significantly less. That was avoidable distress, exhaustion, and additional medical expenses. I expect this matter to be treated with the seriousness it deserves. The only person that showed me compassion in this situation & actually willing to help me was the handy man Pedro.
