The penthouse apartment is an adult only apartment in a Georgian town house,and is steps away from all of the town’s attractions, including the long golden beach.. 2 steps to entrance.

With designated off-road private parking on your doorstep, which is a huge bonus in such a popular area where parking is at a premium. You can explore the town on foot as everything is within a short stroll from your doorstep. Stepping inside the apartment from the communal entrance you have stairs leading up from the communal hall to the top floor. Up in the penthouse apartment you have a grand spacious living room which is open plan with the dining area and kitchen, with views out over the rooftops to the upper harbour. It is an inviting large open space, where you can freely mingle. The kitchen is well equipped, so that you can create culinary delights using fresh local ingredients, including a wide choice of incredible seafood. There are two bedrooms to choose from, a master double with an en-suite shower as well as a second double room. There is a bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi bath, ideal for winding down after a day of exploring. The decor flows beautifully from room to room, with eye catching images by local photographers mounted on the walls providing inspiration for the days ahead, and also original beams invoking this properties grand past.
There is lots to see and do whilst holidaying here by the sea. Taste the wonderful fish and chips and work them off with an exhilarating cliff top walk, or relax on the long sandy beach. Jump on the tour bus to make sure you don’t miss out on everything Whitby has to offer, as well as visit some of the museums documenting the fascinating local history from Vikings to Pirates. Discover the stunning scenery of the North York Moors National Park and explore the spectacular coastline rich in fossils, and the famous Whitby Jet. Experience a trip on the famous North York Moors steam train, taking you from Whitby to the lovely market town of Pickering, stopping off at Goathland Station, otherwise known as Hogsmead in the Harry Potter films. We had a great short stay at the Buccaneer. The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The parking space was a bonus and the location was great for us. We would definitely stay again.

Buccaneer was an excellent apartment. The facilities were amazing and couldn't fault the thought that had gone into everything. It felt very luxurious and good value. There are a lot of stairs and located on a hill so wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues.The beds were very comfortable and the whole apartment felt like a home from home. Thank you so much.
