3 comfortable and bright rooms, beautiful view of Solaise and the Daille

We were a group of 4 and we loved our stay in this apartment. It was clean and tidy, the kitchen is new and well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and the views over the mountains are beautiful. The beds are comfortable. It was an easy check-in and check-out process. Le Crêt is a great location between Val D’Isere centre and La Daille so both are easily accessible. Guests should be aware that there is a charge for towels & bed linen which we weren’t aware of until the end of our stay

We had a very good stay in Michels apartment. Was exellent for 5 people and with a nice cosy atmosphere. Small walk to the bus and to the center. Nice view to the valley from the sitting room. Would like to come back.

We stayed a week during December 2021. We have been welcome with a bottle of white wine, which was a nice gesture from Michel. The flat is fully furnished with everything you need; the bedrooms are spacious (quite uncommon for flats in the Alps); lots of storage. We had a ski storage area which was useful. The free shuttle bus is just a couple of minutes from the flat. Only suggestion is to provide bed linen and towels for free :)

Fast WiFi and outside parking included. Large apartment with two good size bedrooms, very comfortable beds and plenty of storage. Large radiators, perfect for drying gloves, etc. Nice bathroom with powerful shower in the bath and big tower radiator. The kitchen and dining area work very well and together with the lounge area this is a very pleasant space to relax in the evening or on stormy days. Big windows with views down to La Daille and up to Solaise. We will definitely stay here again if we can

We loved our time at this apartment. The reservation process was easy and Michel communicated timely and effectively. Michel was kind enough to help us arrange a Christmas tree (sans decorations) which worked perfectly as upon settling in we spent time as a family decorating the tree. During check-in we had a few hiccups but those were easily handled by Mr. Grannat (the caretaker) and we began our week long stay in Val d'Isere. The hiccups included confusion about check-in time (it is 4:30 but information on contract and Homeaway say 3 or 4 pm) and about linens (which the cost is 20 Euros per person). We enjoyed the apartment which had all the comforts and was easily manageable for my family of 4 with two adults and children aged 12 and 14. We cooked most meals in the apartment and ate on the mountain when skiing for lunch. The shuttle is just a five minute walk away and town is only about 10 minute walk from apartment. We used the shuttle when skiing since it drops you at the base of each of the locations and walked when going into town. As for shopping there is a small market just down the road affiliated with the gas station SPAR and then there is another in town called Sherpa. The apartment was outfitted with spices and such but for perishable items and snacks we shopped ourselves. Traffic can be a problem getting to and from the resort according to the Val d'Isere tourism website but we didn't experience any upon arrival. Leaving was another matter and that was partly because we had a huge snowstorm the day before and day we left. We used snow chains and there were numerous accidents going down the mountain and some road flooding. It took us 11 hours to get to Geneva so just plan ahead. This is not a slight on the apartment or the resort itself, just advice for others. Mr. Grannat, the caretaker, was wonderful and so was the owner. We really enjoyed our time at this apartment. It was perfect for our family and we would gladly recommend this apartment to others and return ourselves. Thanks again for everything.

After booking we had contact by email with Michel, who was more than happy to help on any aspect of our stay including transfers. We hired a car from Chambery airport.There was plenty of parking right outside the apartment which was secured by an entrance barrier this worked really well for us. For four adults the apartment was large and very comfortable with all the amenities we needed for the week. It was easy to find and on arrival we were welcomed by Mr and Mrs Grannat. The apartment is located on the outskirts of Val D'isere which was a good location for us. The bus stops are near the entrance barrier and it was so easy to take the bus to the centre of Val or to La Daille. Both only minutes away to catch the lifts up the mountain to a large and well maintained ski area. It is by far one of the best apartments we have stayed in in France. We would definitely revisit and highly recommend booking through homeaway.co.uk.
