It is an 18th-century villa built in the typical vertical architecture of Positano, within walking distance of both beaches.
The two terraces are pleasantly enclosed outdoor spaces where you can sunbathe in privacy, away from prying eyes and road noise.

This villa was a terrific choice for our family. The kitchen housed everythin you could possibly need for a large family. The common rooms are large and comfortable. The bedrooms had ample storage as did the closets. And the view...WOW!! The terraces are fabulous with never ending views of the city and water. The house manager Paola was very attentive to our every need and made our stay feel like family.Thank you! we highly recommend this stay!!

Villa la Pistrice is a wonderful, authentic Italian villa with beautiful views of the Positano area. We loved the many outdoor spaces affording refreshing sea breezes and plenty of seating for enjoying a glass of wine or playing a game. The location of the villa is superb - 50 steps from the street (not easy, but few compared to many lodging options); just above the Hotel Villa Gabrisa - a great place for dining or drinks; and just around the corner from the best little wine shop / family dining option called Gargiulo Bread and Wine. Paola was extremely responsive to all our questions, and greeted us with a smile and useful information for our stay. Our group of 4 couples enjoyed our stay immensely and can highly recommend Villa la Pistrice!

This was the final stay of our family trip to Italy. We had the most wonderful time in Positano! This villa was exceptional and offered our family a relaxing and amazing place to enjoy our vacation. We loved the peaceful tranquility and the old-world charm of this villa. The bedrooms were large and perfectly furnished and the kitchen was fully stocked. The cleaner was meticulous to detail and respected our privacy. The property manager was attentive to our every need and was so kind to allow us to stay beyond our check out hour. We were enamored with the outside dining and living spaces. This place certainly offered our family the opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Positano and the sea. We would definitely come back!

Villa Pistrice is a beautiful, spacious home with stunning views of Positano and the sea. The location is excellent—close to a bus stop and with plenty of outdoor spaces for relaxing with family and friends. The villa has the charm of a well-loved family home, with unique character throughout.A few things to note: only the bedrooms are air-conditioned, the beds are very firm queens, and there’s a washing machine but no dryer (laundry dries outside easily). Daily housekeeping was provided. Towels were replaced once during our stay.The host was responsive, and the kitchen and outdoor dining spots (especially the vine-covered pergola) were highlights. Nearby restaurants and take-away options made meals easy and enjoyable.Overall, Villa Pistrice is ideal if you’re seeking authentic charm and atmosphere rather than modern hotel-style amenities. We loved our stay and would happily return!
