About this house rental

Summary:

Whether alone or with the whole family. Close to the water and with a wood-burning stove, ideal for a few relaxing days.

The Space:

The historic fisherman's cottage is small and has a total of 58 m2 on 2 floors. On the first floor there is a hallway and the stairs to the 2nd floor. This is quite narrow and steep and therefore not suitable for people with disabilities. On the first floor there is also a large room with a fully equipped kitchen (incl. stove and dishwasher), living and dining area. Attached to the house with access from the dining area is the bathroom with washing machine. On the upper floor there are two separate bedrooms with two 90 cm wide beds in the front room and a 160 cm wide sofa bed in the back room. Between the two rooms there is a laundry room with toilet, washbasin and access to the roof terrace (facing west), which is located above the bathroom. Overall, the cottage is suitable for a family with children or for 2 couples.

The Neighborhood:

The historic fisherman's cottage is located in the town center of Ribnitz near the Marienkirche, the market square and the harbor. The harbor and the Bodden hiking trail are approx. 150 m away. In the town center of Ribnitz you will find all stores for daily life. The shopping street of Ribnitz and even the train station are within walking distance. Ribnitz is known as an amber town: the amber museum is particularly recommended. There is also an amber foam factory in Damgarten. There are numerous hiking and cycling trails, e.g. to the Baltic Sea beach, the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula and the Recknitz valley. The Bodden hiking trail takes you to Fischland and Darß as well as Damgarten and the mainland towards Barth. Ribnitz and Barth are old Hanseatic towns.

Getting Around:

In principle, you can park in Fischerstraße if parking spaces are available. On arrival, a car can be parked on the sidewalk to unload. In summer it can be difficult to find a free parking space. If necessary, you will have to use the “Gänsewiese”. Ribnitz is easy to reach by public transport. Get off at the station “Ribnitz-Damgarten West”. The distance to the cottage is 700m.

Other Things to Note:

Bed linen and towels are not included in the price.
