Sora Villa, Huge Swimming Pool, Private Sauna & Elevator Access

My husband, our three kids, and I were especially excited about the pool, and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The water temperature was very comfortable, and the pool was spacious enough for the kids to enjoy themselves while we could still have a proper swim. There were always plenty of towels available, which was really convenient for a family of five. We also loved having the kitchen so close by, as it made it easy to prepare drinks, snacks, or something quick for the kids between swims. In the evening, the pool lighting created such a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, the villa felt modern, private, family-friendly, and very well cared for.

There was no conditioner provided in the bathroom, so it may be worth bringing your own if you normally use it.

조용하고 프라이빗한 곳을 찾는 커플에게 잘 맞는 숙소였어요. 아침에는 커피를 마시고, 낮에는 수영장에서 시간을 보내기도 했고, 가끔 근처 강 쪽으로 산책도 했습니다. 날씨가 더울 때는 아래층의 시원한 바닥이 특히 좋았고, 천장이 높아서 침실도 더 넓게 느껴졌어요. 세탁기와 건조기가 있어서 편리했고, 작은 전용 엘리베이터도 층 사이로 짐을 옮길 때 생각보다 훨씬 유용했습니다.

아내와 둘이 방문했는데 도착하자마자 편안한 느낌이 들었습니다. 공간은 넉넉했지만 주방, 거실, 수영장이 자연스럽게 이어져 있어서 아늑한 분위기도 있었어요. 캡슐커피와 드립커피가 둘 다 준비되어 있어서 좋았고, 주방도 간단한 음식을 해 먹기에 충분했습니다. 작은 엘리베이터도 있었는데 쇼핑한 물건이나 짐을 옮길 때 생각보다 편리했어요. 숙소는 전체적으로 깨끗했고 주변도 조용해서 편하게 쉴 수 있었습니다. 호스트 답변도 빨라서 불편함 없이 잘 지냈습니다. 아내와 둘이 쉬어가기 좋은 숙소였습니다.

The villa itself is beautiful and very spacious, with a great layout for a large family. The pool, sauna and elevator are real pluses, and having both a washing machine and a dryer was convenient for a longer stay with a group. The location works well for the beach, in about a 25-minute walk or a 5-minute motorbike ride gets you to a gorgeous stretch of sand that’s usually not crowded, which we loved. The host replied to messages quickly and was polite throughout. When we raised the sofa cushions, both the indoor and outdoor sets were cleaned the next day, which we really appreciated.

Cleanliness was the main issue from day one: dust and stains on the indoor and outdoor sofas, grime inside the AC vents, hazy shower glass, rusting bathroom fittings, and dust on floors and skirting boards. We reported this with photos and a cleaning team came, but the job was mediocre — it was only after we walked through and pointed out specific spots in person that those particular things got cleaned. Anything we didn’t personally point at stayed as it was. The air conditioning is the part worth flagging most. Only the living room floor unit’s grilles were wiped from the outside. Throughout the property the units look dusty and don’t smell fresh, and this was never actually addressed. In a climate where the AC runs essentially all day, that feels like a genuine health concern rather than a cosmetic one, and it’s the thing we’d most urge the owners to fix. On our third night the main bathroom developed a strong sewage smell that spread into the adjoining bedroom. I couldn’t sleep and felt nauseous through the night. We refilled all the drain traps and aired the room ourselves. The response was to send the cleaning team rather than a plumber. The smell eased but came back the following day, and we ended up moving to an upstairs room with no bathroom of its own, so we still had to use the affected bathroom downstairs for showers and everything else. The wifi was then down for about 24 hours because the internet bill hadn’t been paid. There is also active construction directly in front of the villa, which isn’t mentioned in the listing and is worth knowing before booking. Smaller things that add up: there are no towel hooks in main bathroom, so wet towels ended up hanging on the shower door handle — we asked and were told they’d check with the owner, but nothing came of it. Toiletries were inconsistent between rooms, with some missing shower gel or shampoo, so we bought our own. No floor towels were provided as well.
