The property is recently modernised to a high standard. The location is great, near amenities but on a road that’s not too busy. It has a fantastic view.

A great deal of time and thought has been put into making this cosy apartment ultra modern and in fact quite glamorous. The finishings are lovely, spotlessly clean and fancy, with the cutest coffee machine and lovely toiletries. We didn't realise that the loft bedroom sits on a glass floor, which is fun. As a loft, if you are over 165cm you will need to watch your head. There is one view through a glass door to the balcony and it is stunning, there are no other windows. The balcony is small but perfectly formed however, it catches the sun for most of the day which is lovely but can become too warm to sit outside for extended periods. Air conditioning is excellent and the space stays refreshingly cool for much of the day, even without the air conditioning. The elderly upstairs neighbours can be a little noisy during the night but are super friendly. Free bottle of wine was a lovely bonus. Positioned out of the busy area but within a 10 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. Swimming from rocks right across the if you are game or a 15 minute walk to a free beach. Many places to watch the beautiful sunsets including your own verandah.

We organised that the host would reserve parking (cost involved) prior to arrival, at a shortish distance from the property, however the procedure from this point was not made clear to us. The procedure we now understand is; to ask the host for the address of the parking, drive to the parking and park in the section with blue lines (blue signifies that a cost is involved). Then catch the free shuttle from the port reserve parking to the accommodation where we could pick up the keys from the shop next door to the property. But not much of this worked as it should. We got to the car park, didn't know where to park, asked a boat hire worker who said park in white lines because that would be free. We did that but then had to contact our host to ask how we get from the parking to the property. He took some time to arrive and explained that because we had free parking we couldn't get the shuttle. Long story short. Park in white lines to get free parking and ring host to come and pick you up.

Tolle Unterkunft! Frisch renoviert, blitzsauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht (inklusive Kaffeemaschine und gut funktionierender Klimaanlage). Der Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer ist herrlich. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Kathedrale und Restaurants sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Gastgeber Toni ist sehr hilfreich, unkompliziert und sehr herzlich. Da das Apartment in der verkehrsberuhigten Altstadt liegt, kann man dort zwar nicht parken – wir haben jedoch einen Gratisparkplatz unten am Hafen gefunden.
