What's not to like? If you and the fam are looking to get away from it all, this is it! You are 10-15 minutes or longer away from any hustle and bustle. The house itself is lovely, with a fantastic view of Kings River greeting you right when you open the front door. The balcony and back patio are wonderful places to just relax and enjoy the views. The bedrooms are great with comfy beds (especially if you like a firmer mattress) and include plenty of outlets to plug in all your electronic necessities. Bedrooms also include closets/dresser drawers to store your cloths and other items. We have three kids, so the 2.5 (especially the .5) bathrooms were a huge bonus. The house is great, but the backyard was the highlight for us. We spent hours just watching the stars at night or enjoying a fire in the firepit. My kids loved the TRAMPOLINE, the river bank and the boat dock. My wife and I enjoyed the peace and quite. There are good restaurants locally to hit up if you don't want to take advantage of the kitchen. We really enjoyed the Depot Diner/Hangar at Point 25. We also enjoyed the old school Pizza Hut in Shell Knob too (it's Pizza Hut, but one of the best you'll ever eat at with one of the best views a Pizza Hut has to offer). We also love a good flea market, and there is a great one in Carr Lane called the LUC Trading Post. It's right next to the Carr Lane Country Stop which is a great place to gas up, too. Lastly, I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU the owners/managers of the property where we stayed. They were extremely responsive to all our inquiries and were super easy to work with. I appreciated feeling like I could ask them anything. Just go, you'll love it! We are looking forward to a return trip soon.

I'm being picky, because this home is just fantastic. However there were a few things that I feel should be mentioned. The driveway is steep. The bottom of my minivan scrapped getting out multiple times. I found that exiting on the right side next to the trash cans was my best route. If your vehicle has higher clearance, you should have no problems. Also, the WIFI is great upstairs, but doesn't cover the downstairs areas well. The TV in the game/media room buffered from time to time, but we didn't care. We weren't there to watch TV and the kids can always use more time away from their phones/tablets.
