Great location spacious and homely

Un excellent séjour en famille dans une maison confortable et idéalement située ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et avons vraiment beaucoup apprécié cette maison ! La maison est très confortable, parfaitement équipée et très agréable à vivre. La cuisine dispose de tout le nécessaire pour préparer les repas, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’Air Fryer, très pratique pour cuisiner rapidement certains plats. Les chambres sont agréables, bien équipées, et surtout les matelas sont vraiment confortables ! C’est un détail qui mérite d’être souligné, car ce n’est malheureusement pas toujours le cas dans les locations de vacances. La présence de deux salles de bain est également un véritable avantage lorsqu’on voyage en famille. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le coin salon, avec son canapé et sa télévision, qui nous a permis de passer de très bons moments en famille le soir, notamment en regardant des films tous ensemble. L’emplacement est un autre grand point fort de cette maison ! Elle se trouve dans une résidence disposant d’un parc de jeux où nos enfants ont passé énormément de temps. On y trouve également un pub très accueillant et agréable, ainsi qu’un autre club juste en face, tout aussi sympathique. La mer est accessible en quelques minutes à pied, ce qui nous a permis de profiter de belles promenades. Le centre-ville est également tout proche, avec de nombreux commerces, restaurants, fish and chips, salles d’arcade et autres activités. Côté pratique, il y a de nombreux petits commerces à proximité, ouverts tous les jours, ce qui est vraiment appréciable lorsqu’on a oublié quelque chose ou qu’on a besoin de faire quelques courses de dernière minute. À Sittingbourne, on trouve également de nombreux grands magasins et supermarchés. Un Lidl devrait d’ailleurs bientôt ouvrir à seulement quelques minutes, ce qui rendra l’emplacement encore plus pratique ! Nous avons aussi trouvé cet emplacement idéal pour découvrir la région.

The chalet was lovely & well set out. It had books & games & a few kids toys which was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable & lining was clean. The location was perfect, being just outside Leysdown which is nice. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The onsite club house was nice & the staff were very welcoming. I will definitely stay here again...

There were only a couple of things which I feel could have been better & very easily sorted. The cleanliness wasn't great in some areas. Under the sofa cushions, behind & under the sofas. I wasn't going around looking for those things, I have a 2 year old who is into everything. The big windows in the main bedroom did not open. The big thing for me that really needs immediate attention are the carpet grippers. If you stand on them the screws push up into your feet which was quite painful.

We especially appreciated the excellent communication with the owner, who provided the key well in advance, ensuring a smooth and easy check-in. The house itself is spacious and comfortably accommodates four people. It features a cozy sofa and a TV with a Netflix subscription, and the beds were comfortable with fresh and clean bed linen. The location is also convenient, with the sea just a 15-minute walk away, a small supermarket nearby, and a lovely restaurant in the next town.

The bathrooms would greatly benefit from renovation, as they currently feel quite dated. One toilet could not be used due to low water pressure, which also affected the shower. The larger bathroom lacked a mirror, and the toilet seat was loose and in need of repair. The vacuum cleaner had very limited suction power, making it difficult to clean the floors thoroughly, and the refrigerator and toaster were rather old. For four guests, only three towels were provided, which felt insufficient. In addition, it was not possible to drive directly up to the house, so we had to carry our luggage from the parking area, and there was some early morning traffic noise from cars passing over the speed bump in front of the house.
