Chambre Privée 1 BONNEUIL SUR MARNE 30 minutes from Paris

Very cost effective option, especially during the peak season. Although this place is located on the outskirts of Paris, there is a very well-connected public transport which can get you to Central Paris within 60 mins door to door. This 60 mins includes walking to the bus station, taking the bus to the metro station, and the actual metro journey into Central Paris. Considering traveling between two spots within Central Paris can sometimes take 30 mins, I think this is very reasonable. In terms of public transport, there are mainly two options: RER and metro. I have used both options, and I would say Metro is a much better and reliable option. You can take a bus to the metro station very easily (bus stop is 5 mins walk from the apartment). The bus journey to the metro station takes about 3 mins (I know, it's a very short ride). At the metro station (Pointe du Lac), there is a frequent train as it's the final stop on Metro Line 8 and it takes 35 mins to Bastille Station in Central Paris. I had no problem making two returns journey to Central Paris every day! I would say the accommodation itself is basic, but it has all you need and there wasn't anything I would complain about. There are three other rooms and you need to share a toilet and shower room with other residents. When I was there, two residents were long-term residents and they were all very quiet and respectful. There are a couple of big supermarkets within 5 mins of walking distance, self-service launderette within 10 mins of walking distance and the bust station that you need to get to metro/RER station within 5 mins of walking distance. The host's son was always available to my questions and was very responsive. He went above and beyond to facilitate my late check-in on the weekend, and I am very thankful for this.

Nothing to complain about. If I have to squeeze my brain for points of improvement, I would say a fan in the room would be a nice addition. I was there during the red alert heatwave (La Canicule where temperature was always above 40 degree celsius for the whole week) and I would have benefited from having a fan at night haha.

Excellent contact avec le propriétaire très pro, remise des clés un peu compliqué car il a fallu se coordonner mais Finalement Nickel ! Excellent rapport de confiance. Appartement très bien, bien situé et surtout bien desservi, assez calme, chambre BIEN , bonne literie, je ne peux que recommander. Par contre à garder à l'esprit qu'il y a deux autres chambre donc vous ne serez pas seul. La salle de bains est donc pour trois je précise.

Cuisine un peu plus fourni en matériel aurait été bien.
