Spacious apartment in a safe area
The location shown on the booking.com website was inaccurate. The apartment is located a long distance away from the medina and taxi drivers were often reluctant to drive so far from the city

If you are thinking of booking this, please do. It is exceptionally beautiful and you won’t be disappointed. The balcony is incredible, me and my partner both said this was the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. We could not believe how amazing the apartment was, and the entire complex too. The pool… incredible! The apartment was classically Moroccan decorated with so much space for me and my partner. The kitchen was as also useful. Everywhere was very clean. The staff by the pool were so helpful, Rashid in particular. The location was good, it was 20 minute drive into jema al fina which meant we were in a quiet part of the city. We appreciated this most days as it was very quiet, take extra money for taxi fare into town and back if you want to go there daily.
Upon arrival, the guards at the gate seemed angry we arrived - it’s because it is a closed complex, they did seem a little angry and the escalation was unnecessary. We had been travelling for basically over 1 day to finally get to our hotel so we did not appreciate this at all. However, the host apologised for that as it was not their fault which we appreciated. The host done nothing wrong at all and we are thankful to them for the lovely stay :)

The location was peaceful and quiet. The shopkeeper nearby and pool staff were very hospitable and kind as was the host.
The pool was really pleasant but very shallow - about 1 metre. It was also very hard to get a taxi into town and back as the location is quite obscure and deserted. I also had a bad experience with the host lying to me and bringing my lost passport to the airport much later than he promised which meant that I missed my flight and had to pay for a new one. It was one of the most stressful and expensive moments of my life :(
