Large Single Family 3 Bedroom House with Air Conditioner, Garage and Lake View

The facility was as shown in the picture. Indeed, there is a lake at the back of the house though there is no access to it. I think that is intentional for safety reasons. The house is well equipment with furniture. Well decorated with items from Ikea. Good furniture, good bed, enough plates and cups for even a large family. The house is very spacious and I love it. In fact, it was why I chose it. Many of the items are relatively new and I think the house itself is new. It is located in a new neighbourhood, a condo. The garage was a bit small for our mini-van as we have to open the garage door to open the boot, however, mini-vans are not standard cars in the sense of it. So, it is ok. The Host tried to communicate with us regularly and tried to answer our questions, though he couldn't solve the issues we raised mainly around hot rooms and dirty/dusty areas.

This is where it gets problematic. If you like heat a lot, this is the house for you. The HVAC units do not have enough power to get to the upper floor where the bedrooms are located, so, the bedrooms are very hot during the day and hot at night, while the ante-room on lower floor and sitting room at the middle floor are fine. Considering this is spring, you can imagine what it will be like at the peak of summer. The host/owner has tried to provide mobile air conditioners, however, there are only 2 of them (limited by capacity of house's electrical breakers): 1 on the middle floor (in the sitting room) and another in the master bedroom. The Air conditioners are complimented by fans in each room. The other issue is with cleanliness. The cleaners might have cleaned the house days or weeks before we entered but when we got in, we met a dusty house though well-laid out. If a house is not occupied for days, then you need to clean it again before bringing in guest. Immediately, we entered, we could feel dust. Two of my kids started sneezing. The work top was dusty, so was the coach and the beds. Plates had layer of dust, the kitchen cabinet had dust and particles, dinning chairs had food/drink stains. Good enough, we had our cars mobile small vacuum cleaner and wet (water-based) wipes to the rescue. This was how my wife was able to make the house bearable for us to sleep. We cleaned few things we could use and moved on. The area marked for reading chair in the sitting room was dirty. The middle floor balcony was dirty, the balcony access glass door was dirty with finger prints all over. Also, the air conditioners were dirty producing dust instead of clean air. We simply switched them off, to avoid more issues. This is a beautiful house with a lot of potential, only if the host can get the cleaning right. If the cleaners do not provide good service, change them. If you intend to host people, then, check that everything is functional before you invite people in.
