Low flush toilet was a big problem. Easy fix, if you take out the low flush bowl parts.

I was so happy to come back, and once again, this place did not disappoint. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the French Quarter and within easy walking distance of all the great restaurants, cafés, and entertainment around the Marigny. The space is huge, comfortable, and full of character. I especially love the unique local artwork with a great working desk and the mix of historic New Orleans charm with modern touches. It really feels like an authentic New Orleans experience rather than just another rental. It was perfect for spending time with friends, relaxing, and enjoying the neighborhood. Lee was a wonderful host, as always, and made everything easy. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommend this place if you want a spacious, comfortable, and truly New Orleans experience.

The location was excellent for walking to the French Quarter and Frenchman street. It has so much space and is so comfortable and decorated with cool local artwork. I highly recommend.

The location a few blocks from the French Quarter was excellent. The wifi is strong. The keypad on the front door means I don't have to worry about losing a key. The bed is comfortable. The washer was helpful. The A/C works well in the living spaces and ok in the bedroom.

The internal door between my unit and the (empty) one next door was open when I arrived. It couldn't be closed and locked, so I reported it to the management. They said someone would come by and change the doorknob the next day so it could be locked and that no guests were booked in the other side. Someone showed up 6 days later and entered my unit without permission or notice to close/lock the door because guests had checked in on the other side. Someone else came by later that day (with permission, but with only 1.5 hrs notice) - which was AFTER the other guests had checked in - to secure the door from my side. Until that fix, the guests next door could have opted to open the door into my unit. Also, the toilet has a weak flush, so be prepared to flush multiple times to get anything to go down. It also "spits" water out of the bowl on some flushes, which I found to be unsanitary. This was also reported, and I was told it was a quirk of the old building. The shower and sink area in the bathroom are both very tight spaces. When it rains, an ankle deep pond forms around the entry stairs. The backyard was uninviting, though a gardener showed up later during my stay to clean it up.
