Studio 373 at The Lodge at Spruce Peak

The people, staff at Spruce Peak are fantastic - front desk, valets, staff everywhere. The place is very well maintained and decorated. Resturant (the one that was open) food was great. Using the app to recal the car from the valet worked well.

Booking.com never sent the reservation to the hotel - took over an hour to sort out - the hotel staff was great but this was out of their control. Many things closed for the season - Adventure Center - One of the Resturants, one of the shops, Whistle Pig - wish the web site was more upfront with what is open/closed for the season. Room was great but fireplace did not work - maintenance fixed it once but if you turn it off it doesnt relight - at that point we said forget about it - needing maintenance to come to fix what should work is a pain. Fire alarm went off during dinner evening - entire hotel needed evacuation - took a while with guest wandering around in the cold for someone to coodinate where we should all go to be warm. BUT Jennifer our waitress was amazing (ledgend!) and got our drink order to us while we were outside. She was great the entire meal!!
