The island was unique in its location, decor, and its sustainability. We will be staying again for multiple nights. In contrast with what’s available around Tucson the island shines bright not only with its beauty but its price.
Compositing toilet and outdoor shower was intimidating at first but the host did an excellent job explaining its use, any challenge was a welcome experience! Nothing negative to say.

I love an off-grid experience while traveling and the Island didn't disappoint! It was so well staged and equipped. We had everything we needed and more. The outside shower was amazing and the sink systems was great! I don't shy away from a compost toilet though it may not be appealing for others. The grounds were amazing as well! Such a wonderful experience!

I really enjoyed the location, the glamper, and the outdoor shower.
I liked that the message beforehand gave very clear instructions.
I wasn't exactly sure what it was going to look like. It's not totally clear that there are two homes to stay in, or what either one looks like. There are pictures of both mixed in. Also the owner did not respond when I emailed. So he emailed me saying "you must message me at least 3 hours before arriving" but i didn't know if he received my message.
