The location of the hut is amazing and the bed was so comfortable. It was really nice to be able to light the fire and warm up the hut in the evenings

The shepherds hut is absolutely gorgeous! Really well equipped kitchen & super comfortable bed. Beautiful location with amazing alpaca & sheep neighbours. Such a lovely spot for a relaxing weekend away. Super helpful hosts (the provided us with a full length mirror for getting ready for a wedding!) Nearby village has a lovely pub for dinner.
The shower block is very basic (shower in a portaloo) - they do have plans to upgrade this. But make sure you take flip flops and maybe a dry bag to make showering easier. The hut is 5 star though.
