Bright and Spacious Penthouse, Large Terrace by Buena Vista

Modern and spacious apartment. Dual aspect balcony in the bedroom which opened onto the main balcony. The main balcony was huge, as well as being a suntrap with nice views across Malta with all the furniture required to sunbath or sit and eat. The balcony was exceptional and gave you more options to enjoy the stay rather than just being indoors.

We did have trouble trying to work the TV. Some instructions would have been useful.

New, modern and fully equiped penthouse with an amazing terrace, allthough I did not use it much, due to the bad weather. Nice shower. Good bed. Quite.

No champoo or showergel provided. Sometimes hard to find a place to park in the street(s). The penthouse is big enough (livingroom, kitchen, terrace) but only 1 (double) bed. To be honest: the prize is a little too high for what the property offers, also because it's in a not-so-interesting part of the town.

The location was excellent. It was walking distance to most sites of interest. What was not walking distance was accessible by transit, although bus stops tended to be about a 15 min walk from the property. The location features two large terraces, which were great locations for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or relaxing in the evening. It was also a very quiet location and the bed was very comfortable. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay.

The property is run by a property management agency that surprised us with the requirement to sign a long rental agreement and provide a damage deposit or there would be no access to the property, despite having paid for our stay in advance. This was ultimately returned but would have been good to know about this requirement in advance. There was also an excess energy use fee but no way for a resident to know how much energy they were using and hence whether this would apply. There were also no cooking supplies whatsoever in the apartment so you do need to provide all basics (eg., spices, cooking oil, etc.). The apartment also appears to be still under renovation. It has two bathrooms although one stills needs to have the toilet installed.
