Little Roaring Beach Shack

The light above the stove and one of the heat lamps in bathroom was not working. Hard to see while cooking. The knives were very blunt might be an idea to add a knife sharpener in the draw. The mattress needs repacking you sink into the middle

Location, comfortable and clean shack, good communication from the host, great facilities, nice homely touches, flannelette sheets on the bed was nice and cozy. Good sized fridge. Plenty of firewood for the wood fire which was a beautiful touch. Would recommend this experience to others. You won’t regret it.

Driveway was scary but once navigated was easy to use with a 2WD car. Sights and shack worth it once you get to the top. Bed in main room needs to be stabilised a little better as it collapsed in the middle of the night and hubby had to fix it. These aren’t really negatives but need to be made known to further guests.

A cute cozy little cabin in one of the most scenic areas of Tasmania. The hosts were very friendly and helpful the whole time and ensured that they answered any questions that we had. The cabin was well appointed, and I really do wish we had a little more time to stay.

A little feature (not necessarily a bad thing though) is that the driveway is quite steep and narrow. We didn't have any issues as we were aware of this, and had a 4WD, but in the rougher months, particularly if it's wet or you have a large vehicle, this might present a challenge.

We had a number of interruptions - water delivery, power line inspector, smoke alarm went off for no reason, front door blew open in the middle of the night. Water flows out of the taps are erratic - lots of hot and very little cold in kitchen, very slow hot and cold in bathroom. Smart TV has limited free channels to watch Driveway is steep and pot holes make it more difficult to get up. Would not like to try driving up there in the wet with only two wheel drive vehicle
