The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We requested an early check in and got it! The location was great as well! It was in the vicinity of the market.

The steps were a bit challenging especially while carrying the luggage.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, and they change the bed sheets after each new guest, so everything feels fresh and well maintained

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean, with a nice bathroom, hot working water and a balcony. The location was good, away from all the noise with a nice view of the Himalayas from the front, the staff were very helpful and organised a taxi to the bus stand for us, they had a kitchen on site which made good delicious food - as travellers with a peanut allergy, it’s always good to know your accommodation makes safe and good food. Also we can rent heaters for 200-300 a night depending on the size. Overall a really really nice stay.

The property is a little difficult to find - on Google maps it is not as obvious but you walk down a long flight of stairs from the road into town, and at the very bottom is the hotel. The stairs has a big empty plot to the left of them and a restaurant to the right (if that helps)

Best stay in 2.5 mos in India, clean and quiet. Owner is super nice and responsive and answered about 100 questions I had about the area he was born and raised there, food was fantastic I ate two meals every day - recommend the puri bhaji for breakfast - Hardip the chef was great I appreciated that his food was full of spice and flavorful but it was NOT too chili hot - you can always add that but not take away so elsewhere I would have to add yogurt to everything and then all my food had a yogurt taste - so I got to experience the full flavor without having to add yogurt. Shekhar and Aditja were also great staff too. My mountain view room was lovely big and clean. I liked the location because it was not on a main road so much quieter. The Arabica Coffee House at the top of the steps has great espresso etc. I stayed for 5 days and wish I could have stayed longer but my flight was the following day. I also got to go to a Long Life Ceremony at the Temple - if you go to any event there do NOT bring your cell phone they thoroughly check bags and pat you down.
