Busy Bee Nature Residence

After 11 days intense birdwatching we stayed at Busy bee to relax and unwind before leaving for home.this was our 12th time in Gambia and I can honestly say that the accommodation is by far.the best we have stayed in.it is clean and comfortable with top quality furniture. The well maintained pool has good quality sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and chairs.being birders we couldn’t resist walking the grounds. At one of the many drinking pots we, Yellow fronted leaf love and African paradise flycatcher but the star attraction for me was the tower. In our first 3 short visits we saw 40 species of birds, including Black crake and Greater painted snipe. The staff were GREAT and we learned a lot about bees and the wonderful aloe Vera plant. If you want a relaxing holiday, surrounded by nature, in top quality accommodation, this is the place for you.

Je waant je midden in de bush, het is een prachtige groene oase. ik was er een weekend met mijn vriend, maar dat was veel te kort om overal van te kunnen genieten. De prachtige omgeving, de verschillende vogels, de aloe vera velden, de comfortabele bungalows. Elke bungalow heeft zijn eigen tuin met een ruim terras In de receptie kun je wat basisdinetjes kopen, heel handig. Het zwembad was echt een verrassing! Er is een kliniekje op het park waar kinderen met brandwonden worden behandeld met Aloë Vera, heel uniek. Er is ook een Honey Bee & Bird Educational Center maar daar hadden we helaas geen tijd meer voor!

We hadden langer moeten boeken want één weekend is veel te kort om overal van te kunnen genieten.
