This home was exceptionally clean and very well cared for, making it feel comfortable and welcoming for a family stay. The bathroom and toilet area were pristine — easily a 10/10. Our children were delighted with the toys provided, which made them feel at home right away and allowed us to relax. Sabine was a wonderful host: warm, attentive, and always ready to help, ensuring we had everything we needed. The thoughtful extras, such as biscuits for the kids, were greatly appreciated and showed genuine care for families. Parking was convenient and hassle-free, adding to the overall ease of our stay.

What a great week! I was nervous about having no car, but the bus stop is so close we had the best of both worlds between town and country. Sabine was so helpful and the house was very clean, modern, spacious and bright with a lovely panoramic view of the hills. Locally, there was lots more to do than I expected. The Rhine is very close by! There is a lovely walk along the river where you can see Ostriches at a farm very close to the house. We walked to nearby village Stadenhausen and bought apples, pears & fresh apple juice from an honesty shop. Close by in Laufenburg there is a shopping centre with all you need, plus the train station. The bus is two short stops, but we also walked using the country roads and although it's very slightly longer it was so pretty. There is also a toy shop on that route! The kids enjoyed the garden. We highly recommend the excellent butcher/delicatessen on the corner by the house. Sabine kindly organised a KONUS travel ticket for us, which was very reasonable, and we could travel on buses & trains within the Black Forest, including to Basel Badischer Bahnhof. We preferred buses to trains and used the invaluable DB Navigator app. For day trips - Laufenburg is a great little historic town and we walked over the bridge. We really enjoyed Bad Sackingen - highly recommend sauntering through the historic town, strolling along the river, and walking across the amazing wooden bridge. Another day trip is to take the bus to Waldshut and then the train to Waldshut Tiengen to go up the hill to the Vitibuckturm (observation tower). The view is spectacular and the kids enjoyed the play park. A fourth day trip is a bus to Waldshut and then a bus to St Blasien to see St Blaise Abbey, which is very impressive. We had a couple of rainy days but the spaciousness, the view and some great activities for kids such as board games, books and TV meant we were very happy relaxing in the house.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, we were lucky to find the place. Sabine really went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable and answering our queries.

Wir hatten ein paar tolle Tage bei Sabine. Die Wohnung ist ganz genau wie beschrieben - modern, sauber, stilvoll und geräumig. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Den Garten haben wir aufgrund des weniger guten Wetters nicht genutzt. Mein persönliches Highlight war das Panoramafenster im Wohnzimmer. Herrlicher Ausblick. Dadurch wurde die Wohnung sehr schön lichtdurchflutet und wirkte nochmal größer. Auch die Ausstattung war für einen Kurztrip perfekt: wesentliches wie Spülmaschinentabs, Wäschekapsel, Kaffee, Tee, etc. reichten für den Anfang absolut aus. Außerdem gab es, neben vielen Infos in der Gegend, Mineralwasser und ein paar Süßigkeiten zur Begrüßung auf dem Küchentisch. Wir haben uns herzlich willkommen gefühlt und wir haben gespürt, dass hier jemand „mit Herz“ am Werk ist. Der Kontakt mit Sabine war sehr unkompliziert und absolut freundlich. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. Die Wohnung ist ein toller Ort zur Erholung. Egal bei welchem Wetter.
