Hirschwangerhof - Commons Hub

I enjoyed my stay a lot! The hosts who also live there, were really welcoming while giving me the space I needed. They even invited me to a delicious dinner. :) I had to work a bit and was able to use their nice, calm co-working space. It’s a unique place with friendly, open, slightly hippie vibes in a former countryside Inn :) The dorm was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, making it easy to relax. There’s a lovely, big garden where I had my morning coffee and a variety of spacious common areas (they even have two large halls they rent out) that make it easy to either meet other travellers or enjoy some quiet time alone. The surrounding nature is stunning, and Reichenau, with its slightly morbid imperial architecture, is definitely worth a visit.

I was pleasantly surprised by the experience! I stayed in a six-bed room but ended up having it entirely to myself — which was a huge bonus. The atmosphere was peaceful, the surroundings beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring the nearby mountains.

Attention cet établissement n'est pas un hostel classique, mais une grande maison 🏡 à la foi arty 🎨, hippy ☮️ et surtout alternative! C'est un mélange de colocation et de tiers lieu. Autrefois, c'était un ancien restaurant-auberge. Le lieu est donc atypique et je me suis sentie comme chez moi. 🤩 Daniel est très accueillant et donne plein d'informations et de conseils de visite dans la vallée. J'ai pu même emprunter gratuitement un vélo pour me balader. 🚴‍♀️ Sur place, j'ai eu la sensation qu'il y avait tout, que je ne manquais de rien : une immense cuisine pour se faire des bons petits plats, une grande télé pour garder un film le soir, une table de ping-pong, des guitares, un jardin, une belle vue sur la montagne 😍🏞️ et même des accessoires de sport (Skyline, haltérophilie...) Un adorable petit "miaou miaou" (🐈 c'est comme ça qu'ils appellent 😻) vient couronner cette ambiance plaisante. Bref, je vous recommande vivement ce fameux "Commons Hub" comme ils aiment s'appeler. 💕

40 € la nuit, c'est le double d'1 nuit en hostel à Vienne...
