“All Decked Out”

We had space for everyone to be together , but also enough separate areas to give you time to recover from all the “ togetherness”. It is a quiet and peaceful place for a family reunion/ vacation.

This is a nice house that is within a five minute walk to the beach.

Wonderful place, clean with lots of room inside as well as outside for the kids to run and play! Right down the road from the public beach and so much to do! Absolutely enjoyed our stays

Overall it was ok however there was no toilet paper left in the restrooms or trash bags. Would have liked a warning about how bad the mosquitoes were so we would have been prepared for them.

We loved our stay! There was plenty of room, and we loved getting to drive on to the beach for plenty of water time for the kiddos.

It’s a great house, with an amazing deck! The views aren’t the best with an apartment in front but still see the beach. The host had a good set up & made our time easy / relaxing.

This home was very clean and appealing. A short walk from the beach with beach views from the front windows upstairs. This is a great home for large groups.

We stayed with our son and daughter and their families. It was great having a bathroom for each family and plenty of beds. Great location, away from the crowd but close enough to walk to the beach. There were a few minor things that need attention but we were able to let the owner know so they would be able to correct for the next guests. The owners were very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

House was great. Walking distance to a great beach but you can drive on the beach of your want.

Perfect location and the kids loved having the downstair little "apartment" to hang out in when we weren't at the beach. The porch area was an amazing place to spend time! We really emjoyed our stay and the hosts were helpful with everything!!

Easy access to beach. Only a few blocks to walk. Golf cart rental makes it even easier.

This location was very convenient to Jamaica Beach. The listing was correct about the view. Sitting on the upper level, you can see the beach and the Gulf. There are convenience stores close by if you don't want to go into town, and that makes it nice.

Rental was exactly as advertised. Loved being able to get sun on the deck- had everything we needed right at our fingertips. Beach was conveniently located, we were close to stores. Great!

We loved so many things about this house. The living area is nice and open and comfortable. Loved the big dining table and the plentiful comfortable seating. We LOVED the downstairs "apartment" which was perfect for our kids ages 8-16. They had their own kitchen, dining, bath, comfy couches with TV and bunk area. Nothing fancy but everything they needed. The walk to the beach would have been a little far, especially with all of our stuff. We just drove down which was fine. The best part was sitting on the deck at the big table and enjoying the ocean view and breeze. Would definitely recommend!

Good but too much of mosquitoes

This property was beautiful. Perfect access to beach plenty of small stores in the area and a short distance to town. Very clean completely satisfied. Owners very quick to respond to any questions also no issues. House had everything we needed from dishes to outside games. We will be back.

We just returned from our family's annual trip to the Jamaica Beach area on Galveston Island. This property has always well suited our group very well. Close proximity to Jamaica beach is always great. There were plenty of places for our Krewe to sleep and rest from the daily activities. I cannot thank the owner of the property enough as she made us feel welcomed and at ease with the checkin-checkout process. As always we attempted to leave the property pretty close to which we found it when we first arrived and I am sure that we did that this time. Guarantee .....We will return for future visits...Thank you Dana!!!!

The house is comfortable and good access to beach.

We visited 'All Decked Out' the week after the 4th of July holiday and had a great time! The property itself is well stocked and was very well cleaned. The split level living was great for the teenagers, as they had their own place to hang out and chill. The kids and adults of all ages had a blast playing the Asteroid game as well! There is plenty of space for hanging out and grilling. The property backs up to the nature preserve so there are only neighbors on one side of the home, but be warned, the mosquitos were out of control. I would definitely suggest bringing bug spray. I would have given this property an across the board 5 star rating if it weren't for one thing though. Since we did decide to travel during the Covid pandemic, we were very attracted to this property for the reason that they advertised a minimum of a one day vacancy of the property between renters. This was not the case for us, as they had a family checking out the morning of the day that we were arriving. I will give the cleaning service credit though, as they did a great job with the cleaning, and we Lysol-ed everything once we got there. I don't know if this lack of a gap in renters was due to the fact that we were arriving the Monday after a holiday weekend, or if they are just advertising this and not adhering to it. Either way, like I said we had a great time and the home was very clean. Jamaica beach was also wonderful. Everyone was doing a fantastic job of spacing themselves out on the beaches and we never felt like other groups were encroaching on our space. (Normally none of us would care, but Covid, you know.) The surf was surprisingly awesome and we found tons of super cool shells. I would recommend this property for families that are looking for some fun in the sun any time.

Covid-19 cancelled Seacamp for 2020. Friendships have been formed over the years and the counselors weren't going to let cancelling Seacamp get in the way of getting together over the summer. Great property that comfortably accommodated a group of ladies. Close to the beach and nice views.

The place had a few games we could also play as a family (i.e., Badminton), the yard is big enough to bring a lot of outdoor games (if desired). The proximity to the beach really requires a golf cart, not walking, as you have to cross over the seawall highway. For groceries, you will need your car. And, fridges on both levels is very convenient to entertain on both levels. The desk is a great tanning location, but also to calmly look at the array of stars at night (and a few moving satellites). The place feels very secluded, at end of a dead end street, which we liked. Neighbors are friendly, quiet. We really enjoyed it there.

This property was amazing! It is tucked away in a quiet area next to the seawall and has an amazing view. Plenty of beach access around this location so you have plenty of choices to pick from. The house has plenty of room and beds for all of your guests as well as an amazing outdoor table for family dinners! I definitely recommend this location for the perfect family gathering.

Rental process was very simple. The owner is very quick to answer all questions. The location is great and the property was everything we expected. Would love to rent this house again.
