Cute Studio near JKIA airport

This was an extremely relaxing and enjoyable stay — one of the best I’ve experienced in all of Kenya! I HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone looking for a stylish, safe, affordable, and comfortable place to stay near the airport in Nairobi! The unit itself was quite spacious for a studio and beautifully furnished with modern and artistic decor. I loved that all the necessary appliances were included - plus a ton of thoughtful “bonuses” like Bluetooth speakers in the TV set and additional toiletries in the bathroom. The building itself had a convenient snack bar on the rooftop and a very attentive and thoughtful staff who were always available to answer any questions and give recommendations in the area. Lastly there was 24/7 security and I felt very safe in the unit at all hours of the day, despite it being a rather busy neighborhood overall. Other things I enjoyed: - The Host!! She was very kind, communicative, and considerate throughout the entire process - going as far as to reach out to me before my flight even landed. She made payment very easy to arrange and was willing to work with a few unexpected turns in my schedule that caused me to have to book a longer stay midway through my first reservation. Checking in & Out - Self check-in was very smooth and easy to coordinate. Even though my arrival time was delayed from when I had originally thought, the host worked with me and was able to ensure that I arrived safely and had no issues accessing the unit from security once I arrived. - Super Fast WiFi that made it easy to do remote work and submit my projects on time. - Ease of access to food and other necessities both in the building and just outside (there is a little place to have your laundry done just across the street)! - There were extra linens and towels, and the bed was very comfortable throughout my stay! Overall I highly recommend this stay and would gladly come back again!

I wasn’t sure exactly how the water filtration system and other basic appliances worked initially. As a local this probably wouldn’t be an issue but as a foreigner it’s something to be aware of that some things may have a learning curve if you’ve never used that model before. Thankfully the host was very communicative and walked me through any questions I had about getting connected to the internet or anything else.
