Kids loved the small swimming pool and outdoor bath tubs, new experience for such location.
5km stretch of a road without tarmac, still not bad for a small car. But this is not their fault.

Situated as ways form the hustling and bustling of the city.
The place ought to be maintained, it seemed different from the pictures in the site; at lease aesthetically.

The breakfast was simple but very delicious; a blend of local and continental. We asked for something light, and she prepared it to our satisfaction.
They offered to to have the driver take us to the market to get some drinks and snacks for the kids.
Complimentary coffee offered in the kitchen is the best I have had in Kenia.
Black out although it was beyond them, but didnt last long.

Exceeded our expectations! The host arranged a van to pick us from the airport as we were to visit in-laws in Machakos. Its a shame we could not stay there long enough to experience the landscape, the coffee and other niceties they have in the gardens.
The road to the gardens is a bit rough, about 7kms from the tarmac, not so much of a problem though but travelers might consider a slightly raised car- not the small ones.
The houses are clean, and well taken care of.
The 10minutes on the rough road, still not too bad.
